Financial Aid Transparency Should be Solved Already

Updated: Feb 16, 2023

With all the heat that colleges are now getting about their value for their price, they should at least be fixing the easy problem of financial aid transparency. As per the latest GAO report, only 9% are doing so.

Financial aid transparency is an increasingly important issue in the world of higher education and workforce development. It is essential to make sure that students can access the information they need to make informed decisions about their educational future.

This includes understanding the cost of college, loan terms, and other types of financial aid available. Additionally, it is important for workforce development programs and K-12 education systems to provide transparent information so that students can make informed decisions about their career paths.

In the grand scheme of tough problems to solve, this isn't one. Let's get this fixed so families and students can make the right choices for them and their future. It is a win-win.
